A&A BALLET
ANNA REZNIK
DIRECTOR, A&A BALLET

"The biggest, heart stirring surprise was Anna Reznik. Nina Vyroubova was struck by her resemblance with Olga Spessivtseva. A true mixture of poetry and emotion, brilliance and panache" - Michel Odin, La Danse de Paris

Anna Reznik

Anna Reznik is the former Founding Artistic Director of the Joffrey Academy of Dance and the Joffrey Studio Company (2009-2016). In a very short time, she developed the Academy as one of the most innovative and fast-growing dance organizations worldwide.

She began her career in Moscow at the world famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy (Degree of Ballet Artist) and the Bolshoi Institute of Choreography (Degree in Pedagogy). Ms. Reznik toured throughout the world as a Principal Artist with the Moscow Festival Ballet (later the Russian National Ballet), England's Northern Ballet Theatre, Cincinnati Ballet, BalletMet, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, and in galas with the Bolshoi, Russian, and European Stars of the Ballet.

She has been impressed by Ekaterina Maksimova for all of her life. "I have been worshipping her and dreamed to be like her. She was a genius." Ms. Reznik's performances received rave reviews in the New York Times, Los Angels Times, Dance Magazine and La Danse de Paris.

She and Mr. Kremnev opened A&A Ballet Center for Dance in 2016 where they both teach ballet.

She also communicates with parents and manages instructors, as well as creating programs for the teaching curriculum so everyone will have the same method of study.

In 2002, Ms. Reznik was recognized as one of the most influential people in the Arts in Cincinnati and was featured nationwide in the PBS "Holiday Specials Love is Here to Stay" and "A Family Thanksgiving".
