A&A Ballet Auditions for Cinderella

A&A BALLET, under the artistic direction of internationally acclaimed artists and directors Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev, announces auditions for roles in “Cinderella”, to be performed at Athenaeum Center at 2936 N. Southport Ave. on Saturday, May 18, 2023.

"A masterpiece, a joy from start to finish"

A&A BALLET will present Alexei Kremnev’s highly acclaimed “Cinderella” Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago.

More than 100 members of Kremnev and partner Anna Reznik’s esteemed A&A Ballet company will bring the timeless fairy tale to life, as they tell the story of a young girl who discovers her prince.

Performed in Chicago in 2012 by The Joffrey Academy, Kremnev’s fascinating “Cinderella” sold out to an exhilarated crowd, with his choreography celebrated by The Huffington Post as “electric” and “echoing with audiences of all ages.” BTS Celebs describes the enchanting production as “a masterpiece, a joy from start to finish.”

Kremnev, a Bolshoi trained dancer and former Founding Artistic Director of The Joffrey Academy and The Joffrey Studio Company, defines his choreography as “joyful and accessible” and adds that it is “a contrast to the dark seriousness that pervades so much of today’s ballet.”

Auditions are open to children and young adults of all levels and styles of dance ages 4-24.
